Is 'Sinister' 2012 The Scariest Movie Of All Time?

Ethan Hawke stars in 'Sinister', a popular Blumhouse horror movie from 2012, which tops the most frightening films list in an official scientific movie scare study.

Has actor Ethan Hawke now officially become the new Vincent Price? He’s got the creepy cred and definitely boasts the horror movie resume to assume the fright filled slot. And now, it seems, one of his scary movies is officially the scariest of all time.

Up until now, the intrepid Hawke man has starred in seven successful fright flicks - including, The Purge, Predestination, The Black Phone, Regression, Daybreakers and a remake of horror master John Carpenter’s classic thriller, Assault On Precinct 13. Hawke man still has a ways to go before dethroning Vincent Price as the modern horror movie king, but he’s definitely skulking along on his weird way.

His most disturbing scare fare appears to be Sinister, released in 2012 by that always dependable scream factory, Blumhouse Productions. The scariest title isn’t from a voting poll, but bestowed on the movie through a scientific study. Clearly, Hawke man is killing it. And yes, I must admit it, I really love calling Ethan Hawke, the Hawke man - I do hope he likes it as well!

Cinematic Scare King Of All Time?

Let’s talk silver screen fright fests and discuss the scariest movie of all time - according to a scientific study - as we do a dive deep with Ethan Hawke into the nightmarish world of Sinister.
