Some like it cold, some like it warm, while still Some Like It Hot. And so many comedy fans love this legendary 1959 comedy starring Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe, written and directed by the great Billy Wilder.
Comedy is purely subjective. You may love broad physical comedy - even brutal or raw slapstick - while I may enjoy a more dry, intellectual laugh fest. However, I’ve yet to meet someone who didn’t really enjoy Some Like It Hot. The film is simply excellently executed in all cinematic ways, while also being a near laugh a minute. C’mon, let’s talk Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon fooling an in her magical prime, Marilyn Monroe, into believing they’re just two giddy girls playing in the same jazz band.
