Yes, the artist known formerly and presently as Weird Al was, is and will always be downright horrendously weird. And his many fans would not have it any other way.
Al Yankovic is a hard artist to fully and properly describe. He came to prominence with his silly song parodies. Not content to sit on his side splitting laurels, he became a decent actor, respected musician, recorder producer and author. And there is little weird about doing all of that.
