While it's true that the cast of the movie Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope were in the Holiday Special, that movie did not appear until 1981. The movie released in 1977 is called Star Wars, and has no Episode number or secondary title. It would be more accurate, therefore, to say that the Holiday Special featured the cast of Star Wars, which was the only Star Wars-branded movie available at the time! 😁
This is pure nitpickery, of course, but I stand by this distinction. 😛
Thanks, but adding more tags helps articles be found bowing to Google algorithm and SEO juice boost, as I'm sure you know. And yes, my 7yo self watching Luke Skywalker's first Jedi birthing romp in theaters during the opening weekend does recall there was no 'New Hope' featured on that seemingly endless opening text crawl. 😉
In this respect, I completely and wholeheartedly agree with you.
Winter Festivals can be fun, although truly tricky. I always try to play nicely with the fabled Frost Giants of Jotunheim, though they can be decidedly frosty fellows. ☃️

As a matter of film history, it's become surprisingly important to me to not forget this. 🙂
Happy Winter Festival of your Choice!
Chris.
