Jeffrey Combs plays Doctor Mordrid a magical protector of Earth. You know kinda sorta like Marvel's Doctor Strange. This 1992 low budget, cheap in a good way, yet highly enjoyable film impresses.
Jeffrey Combs did a run of wildly terrible-yet-brilliant low budget horror movies in the 1980s and early 1990s, and I thought I'd seen most of them but this is new to me! I'll keep my eye open for this one - thanks for the tip!
Chris - it really is good. Yes, it's a cheapie, and a *rip-off* of Marvel's good Doctor, but something about it all works & prod values are so high for such a low budget movie. Hope you enjoy!
And seeing a Vorta and Jem'Hadar face off as "sorcerers" is worth watching alone!
