The Gate Will Open Up Your Sci-Fi Galaxy
I loved the SG movie, but I thought it felt a little forced how they fleshed it out for the show. I watched it, but not regularly.
Although the 1st season is strong, SG1 really gets going by 2nd season - perhaps give 2nd season and beyond a try. I just hope they do go back to a feature film.
