Captain Kirk’s First, and also his Science Officer, Mister Spock, hails from the fascinating, enigmatic planet of Vulcan. He's not a pure native born, being actually half human from his Mom, Amanda, and half Vulcan from Sarek, his respected Ambassador Dad. His logic is well known far and wide and his physical strength is legendary among Starfleet officers. However, in the original Star Trek episode, The Man Trap, Spock (Leonard Nimoy) can't seem to take down a simple, middle aged Earth woman, Nancy Crater.
Or is she really Nancy Crater at all?
Turns out that Nancy is an old flame of Dr. Leonard McCoy. But something is now quite different about her... She’s begun to attack the Enterprise crew. Bones (Deforest Kelley) isn’t helping matters by protecting the now violent Nancy, and that’s when Spock strikes to help his now seriously endangered Captain. And when the Vulcan strikes out, it’s truly a wonder to behold.
