The legendary Beatles prancing about fighting Orcs, Ringwraiths and Sauron himself in a live action, epic version of Lord Of The Rings? Yes, my hairy footed Hobbits. I’m not playing Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds in my fevered brain. Those lively Liverpool blokes actually tried to make it happen. It was bandied about my fun loving folk, and although the Fab Four tried to get the film rights, they were denied them by the Hobbit creating author himself, J.R.R. Tolkien.
So, what are we excited for as Lord Of The Ring fans? As jazzed and overjoyed as Tolkien tooks? We are excited over, of course, the Amazon show coming up - The Rings of Power.
