Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny promises to be a big summer blockbuster. It will be at the center of movie buzz next month. The film numbers 5 in the popular franchise created by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. It's reported to be the last wild jaunt for our hero, Indy, played by the iconic Harrison Ford.
Fans of the scholarly and adventure minded Professor Jones are excited, however, when the trailer dropped we all saw a decidedly younger Jones. Decades younger. How so? It was accomplished through the tech miracle - some may say madness - of digital de-aging.

Oh good grief, was the uncanny valley in Disney's Rogue One not enough...? And what's this about a YouTube channel - last I heard was podcasts! I can't keep track of all your platforms, Will! 😁
LOL thanks, bud, yeah I have not left Substack behind by any means, but the YouTube Channel has really taken off! I try to maintain both now.
And yeah, they just can't leave well enough alone. Why can't people simply age or go back to employing a young, rising actor/actress to get some credits? Sad...
I do miss watching the acting talent age, it's such a shame that we're not allowed to see old people on the screen anymore. Anyway, congratulations on your YouTube channel - it is a place I personally try to avoid (I consider Google to be quite nefarious), but YouTube remains the place to be if you're working in video. I dabbled briefly at the request of a book publisher I'm friends with, but even then that felt like quite a compromise for me, and I was glad when my short series ended. But good luck to you and all who sail with you! ⛵
