Despite its well earned, glowing reputation, Starfleet isn’t always so harmonious and or smoothly operational. In fact, the space exploring outfit of the United Federation Of Planets can be down right contentious to be a part of - especially working together on a massive Starship such as USS Enterprise 1701-D.
Science Officer Data and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Pulaski don't get along well. This is well known to their crew mates. While they're both Starfleet professionals serving on Captain Jean-Luc Picard's Enterprise, the friction and tension between them is well documented. It can get very messy. Sometimes, even an android can't hold back his sense of being sorely mistreated
