Star Trek's Q - Is He Evil Or Simply Naughty?
In 1987 John de Lancie Fleshed Out The Unforgettable Q In TNG's Pilot Encounter At Farpoint, Since Then, Fans Debate: Is He Evil Or Just A Playful Bad Boy?

Q, who? OK. I’ll bite. Who in the galactic hell is Q?!
Star Trek: The Next Generation gave Star Trek fans the astounding alien entity known as Q. Played by John de Lancie, this super being, all powerful entity became a favorite of Trekkers everywhere. Q then appeared as a guest star in Deep Space Nine and also on Star Trek: Voyager, busily bothering Commander Ben Sisko and Captain Kathryn Janeway as much as he did Captain Jean-Luc Picard.
Throughout his many Trek guest appearances, fans have come to debate: Is Q an evil entity or is he simply naughty or being playful? He's actual been responsible for the death of living beings and even of their torture. But we as humans do lots of similar things to the lower lifeforms found on our planet. Can we as humans judge something as powerful and as unknowable as he is?
