David Rappaport Appeared In Big Movies Co-Starring With Sean Connery and Sting. He Was Cast In A Star Trek: TNG Episode But Would Be Replaced With Saul Rubinek
Star Trek: The Next Generation has one episode connected to a terribly sad tragedy. David Rappaport, the British actor first cast as villain Kivas Fajo in the Season 3 episode, The Most Toys, attempted suicide, which forced TNG producers to replace him with another actor, Saul Rubinek. Only five days before the episode aired, Rappaport shot himself to death.
David Rappaport forged a respected and varied acting career playing many diverse roles in both television and film. His manager publicly revealed how he’d battled depression for most of his life. Here is the sad story behind the tragic Next Generation episode, The Most Toys.
