Even in the most tranquil of fairy tale appearing lives, rain must fall. For the sci-fi juggernaut, Star Trek, amid the passionate love, there’s more than a little dislike or even hate. Gene Roddenberry’s classic television show spawned many spin-offs and feature films, it’s hard to keep track of what’s favorite among loyal fans.
Even though Trek is arguably the most beloved science fiction vehicle ever, it ain’t all elusive Borg perfection. Sometimes, you just gotta rate the hate.
Roddenberry’s syndicated based spin-off Star Trek: The Next Generation premiered in 1987 and remains beloved. Fans nearly universally praise all seven seasons of Gene Roddenberry's original series sequel, starring Patrick Stewart as Captain Jean-Luc Picard commanding his massive starship, USS Enterprise 1701-D. However, not all its tales can be called classic or anything even closely resembling a winner.
