'Star Trek The Next Generation' How I Wrote For The Hit Sci-Fi Spin-Off Show
Here Is How I Wrote For Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek TV Spin-Off TNG In 1994
Let’s See What’s Out There….
Star Trek: The Next Generation became a mega hit sci-fi TV show during the late 1980's and early 1990's. Released on syndicated television in 1987, Gene Roddenberry's follow-up to his original 1966 Star Trek with Captain Kirk (William Shatner) and Mister Spock (Leonard Nimoy), featured an all new Starship Enterprise commanded by Captain Jean-Luc Picard played by Patrick Stewart.
RED ALERT: A new Starfleet Starship Enterprise once again would go boldly…
During Next Generation’s broadcast run, I wrote for the wildly popular syndicated television series. In my video, I share how I did it and I give advice to aspiring screenwriters, especially to those lacking an agent, because at the time of my script sale, I didn't have one either. It’s incredibly hard to write for TV without agent representation, but it is possible.
