Can I tell you something of a little secret? Star Trek is funny.

I mean it's really funny! Is classic TOS from 1966 the funniest TV show ever? I think it well may be, even compared to some of the big comedic heavyweights.

Watch Seinfeld, Friends or Big Bang Theory, and you'll get your laughs, but Captain Kirk's crew can probably give you more laughs per show. It's certainly the funniest sci-fi drama of all time. And of all the comedy duos showcased on the Gene Roddenberry 1966 created series, Spock and Dr. McCoy - aka Bones - is by far the funniest duo of them all.

Let's talk just why Spock and Bones make original Star Trek so darned funny it beats many other TV shows for giving us pure joyous belly laughs.
