Star Trek streaming on Paramount Plus is a decidedly mixed media bag. It’s like one of those mystery loot boxes you get. Forrest Gump hollers Life is like a box of streaming, ya never know what crap ya gonna get!
Sure, you get all the classic and TNG era TV shows and movies - still the most popular ones for the great majority of Trekkers and Trekkies to savor. And then fans get to watch, though more than often not, what's been called Nu-Trek or PP-Trek, Discovery, Strange New Worlds and Star Trek: Picard. Truly a choice, multi varied sci-fi buffet to say the least. But when are studios like Paramount Skydance going to stop taking fans for granted and start producing great, new original visions, instead of cloning and copying old classic stuff endlessly and boring us to streaming tears.
