Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is the 2nd live action spin-off taken from Gene Roddenberry's 1966 original series. Created by producers Rick Berman and Michael Piller in 1993, during the fabled Next Generation era, the syndicated TV show depicts the struggle of planet Bajor to reclaim their ancient culture and dignity after a brutal war and occupation by Cardassian military forces.

Over seven seasons, the DS9 space station - also known by its given Cardassian alien name of Terok Nor - gave us unforgettable characters engaged in tales of exciting adventures, brimming with sci-fi wonder and sweeping intellectual challenges.
