'Star Trek' Classic Series Commander Spock Official Starfleet Profile
Enjoy Vulcan Spock's Official Star Fleet Profile Presented On The Original Gene Roddenberry Sci-Fi TV Show As Played By Leonard Nimoy
"Insufficient facts always invite danger." - Commander Spock from Star Trek’s ‘Space Seed’
Star Trek is well known for being internationally famous for its celebrated Starfleet officer, the logical Vulcan, Mister Spock. Serving on the USS Enterprise-1701 under Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner), Spock’s actual rank is Commander.
Yes, there's legendary Kirk and the ever persnickety Luddite, Dr. Leonard ‘Bones’ McCoy. There's also Chief Engineer Scotty, Lt. Uhura, Mister Sulu and Ensign Chekov. We certainly love to hate those eternally shady Klingons and the cloaked, sneaky Romulans. However, when we think of Gene Roddenberry's iconic space spanning sci-fi saga, we often visualize the half human, half Vulcan, Spock, as played by the iconic Leonard Nimoy.
Here is Spock's official Starfleet profile as offered up in the original series on NBC from 1966. Enjoy the official fun!
