Comedy Podcast: The Funniest 'Star Trek' Character Duos

We Laugh Heartily At Spock & McCoy, Odo & Quark & Tuvok & Neelix

McCoy: Dear Lord, do you think we're intelligent enough to… suppose - what if this thing were used where life already exists?

Spock: It would destroy such life in favor of its new matrix.

McCoy: Its new matrix? Do you have any idea what you're saying?

Spock: I was not attempting to evaluate its moral implications, Doctor. As a matter of cosmic history, it has always been easier to destroy than to create.

McCoy: Not anymore. Now we can do both at the same time! According to myth, the earth was created in six days. Watch out! Here comes Genesis. We'll do it for you in six minutes!

Spock: Really, Dr. McCoy. You must learn to govern your passions. They will be your undoing. Logic suggests—

McCoy: Logic? My God, the man's talking about logic! We're talking about universal Armageddon. You green-blooded, inhuman—

Star Trek is chock full of healing laughter. This voluminous merriment is something well known to the loyal fans of Gene Roddenberry’s fantastic space opera. Yes, my star trekking kiddies, sci-fi can be really knee slapping funny, and these three delirious duos make Star Trek all the funnier for their participation.

The Cosmic Comedy Stylings of Bones & Spock

We laugh when Dr. McCoy tortures and teases his logical Vulcan crew mate, as Spock responds quickly in kind. We delight at how carefully Constable Odo, the sheriff of Deep Space Nine, tries to catch the crafty Ferengi, Quark, in yet another criminal scheme. We cringe at just how much Tuvok would rather not have to deal with Mister Neelix after the weird alien calls him Mister Vulcan on Star Trek: Voyager. These are the well honed comedic duos of the sci-fi classic Star Trek. C’mon. Let’s talk and laugh our asses off about it.
