Bigfoot is the definition of a household name. He’s one incredibly famous guy - especially for someone who’s still never been proven to actually exist.
Call this elusive hairy one Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Yeti or Skunk Ape, but please know that movies and documentaries about him number in the hundreds. Yes, my cryptid loving kiddies, Squatch’s fan club appears to put even singer Justin Bieber’s Beliebers to shame.
The globally known hairy one has been mystifying, frustrating or appearing to (depending on whom you talk to) for centuries. In 1967, he even starred in his own short subject film. Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin managed to film something moving across the forest in California, which they claim is the elusive Sasquatch. We now call it the PGF. Patterson is deceased, however Bob Gimlin still gives interviews about his fascinating experience, and has never said he and his filming partner hoaxed anything about the famous short film.
