Betty White nearly made it to the century mark. What a dynamic lady and what an incredible entertainment career. She was one of a handful of true Hollywood legends from a bygone era. She also was a tireless advocate for animal rights.
Ms. White appeared in scores of popular movies and TV shows. First known as Sue Ann Nivens on the classic Mary Tyler Moore Show and then as the lovable ditz, Rose Nylund on the mega hit Golden Girls, White touched so many fans with her humor, honesty and love for animal rights. In the sci-fi, horror thriller, Lake Placid, Betty White played one of the coolest and quirkiest characters. I’ll never forget her in that awesome film. C’mon. Let’s talk about it.
