Artist Andy Warhol Was Such A Batman Fan He Made The First Batman Fan Film

Tell me my batty Gotham aficionados - are you the biggest dark knight freaky fan around? You think you love Bruce Wayne’s alter ego more than all of your fellow fanboys? Nope! Why? Because legendary pop culture artist and film maker Andy Warhol has you beat by a long bat flying mile.

The internationally famous artist was a devoted Batman fan. So much so, he’s in a rarefied position as the pioneer producer and director of one of the first comic book fan films. And it’s likely it’s the very first Batman fan film ever. It’s entitled Batman Dracula.

Andy Warhol boasted a trailblazing artistic career. He was one of the most successful modern artists of all time and he was also, clearly, a tremendous fan of the Gothic duo of Batman and Dracula. C’mon. Let’s talk about Andy Warhol’s Batman Dracula.
